The events screen is used to
provide a graphical display and entry of the events that occurred on
a given shift:

The Events Screen is the
primary eShiftLog Screen. This screen uses a traditional Gantt
chart view of the shift events. Points of note on this screen are:
This screen provides a
simple drag and drop user interface to move events. When you select
an event, a context sensitive menu for the event, ship, crane or
delay is displayed that lists all of the tasks that can be performed
on the selected object.

is an alternative tabular view of the same data that is shown on the
Events (Gantt chart) screen.

Day Report
The Seven Day
report is a single page snapshot of the terminal activity in the
last week:

The 7-Day Graphical Report Set provides a highly
graphical quick snapshot of the business in a set of related
charts:
 | Control chart displayed with containers
per hour up the left hand side and the days (and shifts) of
the week on the X axis. |
 | A compacted Gantt chart shows which cranes were
used and their delays. |
 | The vessels in port are also shown in a Gantt
chart format. |
 | Crane working hours are shown for each shift. |
 | Number of containers exchanged for each shift is
shown. |

Tab Report
Note:
Cross Tab reports are also known in some systems as “Contingency
Tables”, “Matrix Reports” or “Pivot Tables”.
This report provides the user with the
facility to tabulate one variable against another to produce a
“cross tabulation”. This
is used to look for interaction between the two variables to find
situations where the specific combination of the two variables
affects performance positively or negatively.

This
cross tab compares crane productivity (CPH) on different days of
the week The color coding is used to highlight high/low
performance.
Scatter
Graph Reports
This report provides the user with the
facility to compare one variable against another to produce a
picture, to see if changing one variable tends to effect the other
variable either positively or negatively.
